I spent three nights at the Old Aberlady Inn in a Family Room. The staff greeted me warmly. The room was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of tea and coffee supplies. A thoughtful touch was the welcome drink along with shortbread biscuits. The bathroom had high-quality toiletries, and the shower offered plenty of hot water. I loved the cozy atmosphere in the pub and dining areas, especially with the real fire glowing in the evenings. The breakfast spread was excellent with a variety of choices, including local specialties like haggis. Dinner was just as good. Every meal I had was well-cooked and presented beautifully. I even got to meet a Scotland women's international footballer serving our meals, made my daughter's day! Only downside? The beds felt a bit too soft for my taste, but that's a minor issue.

Perfect for a Solo Getaway
The place has a really warm vibe, exactly what you need after a long day of, let's say, business. I enjoyed a little flask of sherry waiting for me in my Twin Room, now that's a nice touch.
It wasn't exactly affordable but still reasonable for what you get.

Awesome stay near the coast
The super nice team, especially Calum who really went the extra mile for us. The food was great-really fresh and tasty. Only bummer was the kitchen was closed earlier than expected, but we managed. Rooms were comfy and clean! Definitely a spot to check out!
